About Linda Connors

If You're Reading This, You're Probably Tired of Hoping Things Will Change

Sex should feel natural. Instead, it feels like a test you expect to fail.

You may worry about losing your erection. You may find yourself counting the seconds before you ejaculate. You monitor your body instead of enjoying your partner. The harder you try to control it, the worse it becomes.

  • The questions and thoughts run through your mind:

  • What if this happens again tonight?

  • Will she be disappointed?

  • Why can't I just make this work?

  • Is something fundamentally wrong with me?

You may feel you are the only one who experiences this. You are not. I have worked with over 1,500 men who have similar fears, patterns and sexual challenges.

Linda Connors Hypnotherapist for men and sexual difficulties

Hi, I’m Linda

For over twenty years, I've worked exclusively with men experiencing premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, delayed ejaculation, and sexual anxiety.

I know what it feels like to believe anxiety may never change. I experienced severe anxiety myself for many years, and that journey shaped the way I work today.

Unlike many hypnotherapists, I specialise solely in men's sexual challenges rather than treating a wide range of issues. Over the years, this has given me a deep understanding of the nervous system responses, shame cycles, and patterns of overthinking that keep these difficulties in place.

Most of the men I work with have already tried medication, techniques, or therapy before reaching out. Often, the problem returns because the underlying pattern has never been addressed.

I help men understand what is driving these patterns, calm the nervous system, retrain the body's sexual responses, and rebuild confidence in a way that feels grounded and sustainable.

My Own Journey Into This Work

I didn't begin my career specialising in men's sexual challenges. Like many hypnotherapists, I started by working with anxiety, stress, and stop smoking. Then more and more men began coming to me with premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction.

As I listened to their stories, I began to see beyond the physical symptoms. What many men were experiencing wasn't simply a problem with erections or ejaculation. Beneath that were anxiety, shame, self-monitoring, pressure, and a nervous system that had learned to respond in protective ways.

I also recognised something familiar. When I reflected on my own experience of severe anxiety years earlier, I realised much of the support available focused on changing thoughts, but very little addressed what was happening in the body. That changed the direction of my work.

Over the years, I continued to study, train, and develop an approach that works with the mind, the body, and the unconscious together. Rather than focusing solely on the symptom, we work with the patterns that keep it in place.

After ten years working in Harley Street, I moved my practice online. Today I work with men across the UK and internationally. Although every client's story is unique, the patterns I see are remarkably similar.

What Makes My Approach Different

Over the years, I've come to see that sexual difficulties rarely exist in isolation. What looks like a problem with erections or ejaculation is often only the visible part of a much deeper pattern. That's why I don't focus on symptoms alone.

My work brings together hypnotherapy, confidence coaching, nervous system regulation, and the mind-body connection to help change the patterns that keep sexual anxiety in place.

Alongside this, I've developed my own processes, including Body RePatterning, The Control Room Function, and mental rehearsal under hypnosis. These help bridge the gap between understanding the problem intellectually and experiencing change in your body.

Rather than relying on quick techniques or temporary fixes, we work towards helping your mind and body develop a calmer, more natural sexual response.

This is structured, in-depth work. It takes commitment, curiosity, and a willingness to engage with the process. I work with a small number of clients at a time so I can give each person the attention they deserve. It's equally important that you feel this approach is the right fit for you.

What Clients Commonly Report

As the work progresses, many men begin to notice changes that reach beyond their erections or ejaculation. As anxiety settles and trust in their body returns, intimacy often starts to feel more natural again.

Clients commonly describe:

  • Erections that come more naturally, without forcing or constant monitoring.

  • Less anxiety before and during intimacy.

  • Greater control over ejaculation.

  • Feeling more present with their partner, rather than trapped in their thoughts.

  • Shame gradually giving way to confidence and self-trust.

  • Sex becoming something they look forward to again, rather than something they fear.

One client wrote:

"For the previous two years, I had been living with a secret that I was unable to perform sexually. From the very first session, I knew I had made the right decision. Within the next few weeks, Linda was perhaps the most important person in getting me back to myself."

Another shared:

"Many of my old patterns have fallen away too—not just the fear of being unable to perform. I have begun to take more responsibility for my happiness and wellbeing in all areas of my life. I feel more fulfilled, self-aware and happy to be alive."

For many men, the changes extend beyond sex. As confidence grows and anxiety reduces, they often notice positive changes in other areas of their lives and relationships too.

A Little About Me

Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I worked in media and corporate roles. My own experience of anxiety eventually led me into this work, and more than twenty years later I still love what I do.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking in ancient woodlands, reading, writing poetry about the human experience, and coffee.

I'm endlessly curious about why we do what we do, and what helps people create lasting change.

Sex Talk for Men Podcast

Many men first get to know me through the Sex Talk for Men podcast, often listening for weeks or months before deciding to book a consultation.

If you've been listening for a while, you'll already recognise many of the themes we explore—sexual anxiety, overthinking, self-monitoring, and the relationship between the nervous system and sexual confidence.

Working together allows us to apply those same principles to your own situation in a more personal, structured, and individual way.

Next Step

If what you've read here resonates, the next step is a confidential consultation.

This is a private 30-minute conversation where we'll explore what's been happening, answer any questions you have, and discuss whether this approach feels like the right fit for you.

There is no pressure or obligation to continue.

Common Questions

Is everything confidential?
Yes. Everything we discuss remains completely confidential.

What if I'm embarrassed to talk about it?
Most men feel that way before the first session. You won't be the first person to have these concerns.

Are sessions online or in person?
All sessions are held online, allowing you to work with me from the privacy of your own home.

How many sessions will I need?
Most clients begin with an eight-session programme over three months.

What if I've already tried other therapies or techniques?
Many of the men I work with have. We'll talk about what you've already tried and whether this approach may offer something different.

It's completely normal to be unsure whether this work is right for you. The consultation is simply an opportunity to explore your situation together and decide whether it feels like the right next step.
